Blog Entry! :) June 30, 2013

Blog Entry! When you (and me) least expected it! On this very boring Sunday afternoon I decided to go to the library like old times even though my mouth is still sore and I am swollen. Alas I have nothing else to do with my life and I am bored. So I decided to do a blog entry and talk to all my lovely friends out there that I know I have. As most of you know I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. It was not a pleasant experience. The worst of all was that they really didn’t sedate me that much. I believe my blood pressure dropped for some reason so they decided not to give me much sedation. Well for whatever reason I sure as hell felt the huge needle in each corner of my mouth. After that I kind of closed my eyes and prayed for it to all go away, and while they waited for the numbing medication to kick in I just laid their somewhat helpless. The numbing medication worked but I certainly remember every moment of what that stupid monster dentist bastard did. It wasn’t a sharp pain it was just a pressure pain because of the local anesthesia did. The entire time he and his nurses were talking about how one of the nurses found a baby bat in her back yard that morning, and there I was getting four bones removed from my mouth, and I was just thinking these clowns were idiotic bastards. Before I knew it he was “stitching me up”, not something you think will ever happen to your mouth but yes it was happening. I thought the worst was over. I had been told I was going to get vicoden for pain.

Well I did not get vidoden. I got some non-narcotic pain med which doesn’t really help that much. Good thing is it makes me super tired, but that’s about it. He popped his dopey head into the waiting room and told my mom he wasn’t going to give me a sedative because I was on “enough meds as it is”, so he didn’t want to give me a narcotic. Well I agree with that, but instead of giving me a steroid and an antibiotic this clown should have given me a real pain med. Anyway here I am over 48 hours later, swollen in a little pain, but overall I am doing better. I am going to take another round of steroids, pain meds, and antibiotics before I go to med tonight and I am hoping I will be ready for class, a math placement test, and therapy tomorrow. Let’s hope.

I need to be honest with everyone and only some people know. I have been thinking about going to a group home. There are only 2 group homes locally who will take someone as young as me and then there is 1 in Richmond VA. They aren’t the nicest of places but I need a new environment and I need help. Some people don’t recognize it, but I am falling and I am falling fast. My other option is to pack up and move to Maryland where the best providers are. I have always wanted to move to Maryland specifically Baltimore County because there are so many great schools and I could finally be seen by the professionals, I need to see and my best of friends lives there as well ;). Only problem is…It is not that easy to just pick up and move 5.5 hours away. I get a SSI check as of now but it is only $473 per month and that is not enough to live independently, however if I move my check will be increased and I will also have to work. I also plan to start school at the Community College of Baltimore County as soon as I get there. Again, this is all just hopes and dreams as of now…but one can dream. I would have to apply for Maryland Medicaid, and I have heard that Maryland Medicaid is much better than Virginia Medicaid so that would be another plus.

So if anyone reading this blog knows of someone looking for roommate, a cheap apartment complex in Towson/Baltimore County, or has any other suggestions please let me know. J

It is good to be back in the blogging world. I will really try to do this at least every other day if I can J <3
